There are several ways to reuse batteries. A lot is happening on that front right now. Both Volvo and Scania have so-called second-life programs to use bus and truck batteries when the batteries have lost their performance to function in the vehicles. If the batteries cannot be reused, they are recycled instead. It is expected that all parts of modern batteries can be recycled in their entirety.
