A photovoltaic system requires minimal maintenance. However, if you have a roof system, it is important to keep the underside of the panels clean and ensure that birds do not settle there. In addition, it is a good idea to keep an eye on inverters to ensure that they are not exposed to large amounts of dust and that mice do not chew on cables. If there has been a lot of snow, you can gently brush the snow off the panels. Nature usually takes care of this, but if you don’t want to risk losing production on a sunny winter day, you can remove the snow yourself.
