Solution
At Virås Jaktbutik and Skjutbiograf where the south roof faces an open meadow, 231 solar panels have been installed. A bit closer to the water is the slaughterhouse where 40 solar panels are placed and a bit further away is a newly renovated farmhouse where another 34 solar panels are placed.
Result
The solar panels produce almost half of Virå Mill’s total electricity consumption and give the roofs a modern touch in a historic setting.
