Background
Ekebyhovskyrkan is located near the center of Ekerö and is a modern church built in 1980 that has now become even more modern with stylish solar panels on the roof. In addition to the church itself, it houses the pastorate’s office, children and youth activities, a full-time kindergarten and the cemetery administration.
Solution
On both south sides, we have installed solar panels on the cardboard roof. The cardboard roof itself has strips to which the mounting system could be directly attached. In total, we have installed 181 solar panels on the two roofs.
Result
The roof has been given a new lease of life and the solar panels now produce almost a third of the total electricity consumption.
